Although extremely well known for incisive interviewing, news anchoring and current affairs Maxine is also an excellent all round presenter with a very warm manner.

She has hosted various non-news shows including a series on how to make money from your hobby and a farming series the highlight of which was learning how to artificially inseminate a pig.

Since leaving the BBC last year Maxine has launched her own global interview programme

Maxine has presented BBC Breakfast, she was Washington Correspondent for GMTV during the Clinton years, Ireland correspondent for SKY news during the troubles has worked for ITN, Reuters and Canadian TV. For 20 years she was a senior BBC TV News and current affairs anchor. Maxine began her career as a newspaper reporter, music journalist and all round rock-chick in Belfast (Eric Clapton sang Wonderful Tonight to her at a concert)

She has lived and worked in Ireland, UK, Germany, Japan and USA travelling as a foreign correspondent and single mother.

She is a senior faculty member of the Karolinska Institute University Hospital where she lectures in communications.

Maxine has  a soft Northern Irish accent which is perfect for your voice-over needs.
